Dining Plan and AP Discounts

Ok, so hopefully someone can answer this question for me. If you are an AP and on the Dining plan, and you order something extra, like an appetizer, can you apply your 10% AP discount (if at an accepting restaurant, of course)?

Ive never been on the plan so I have no idea how to answer this question for a friend of mine.

Yes, you can still get your discount on the items not on the DDP. We are TiW cardholders and will get a discount on the appetizer and drinks (adult) even when using the DDP credits. Just tell your server prior so that they understand your plan.

Make sure you check the terms of the discount at that particular restaurant. For instance, at Yak & Yeti the AP discount applies only to entrees.
