Don't want to sound cheap but when we go to disney next year my daughther will be 10. I want to do the dining plan. She barely eats, can I still get her the kid plan? Do I have to prove age?

Well, we have never been asked to prove our son's age, but it's pretty unethical to lie. If you purchased a package and lied about her age, then you would also be getting the park tickets for the kid price. I don't think you will get very many favorable responses to your question here. The rules are the rules and 10 year olds are adults, just pay the additional cost or don't do the DDP.

You can't get her the child's plan. Disney does not consider her a child.

You can still get the dining plan and pay out of pocket for kids meals for her, as long as you are not doing any buffets or all you can eat meals. They will let you order kids meals for her at almost all Disney restaurants, as long as you are paying out of pocket for them. You can then use her adult credits for more meals for yourself.

Ok great thanks. I just can't see my self spending all the money for her to want just kid meals anyway. I have never done meal plan always just pay cash just trying to see what's smarter.

Disfam. Wasn't trying to cheat over system. Of course I still pay for full price ticket cause there is value there. I just can't see the value of the meal plan for my particular daughter who doesn't eat a lot if food. Thanks for responding though.

I may do what maxiesmom said. Thanks for that response too. I can see value in that. And thanks for not calling me unethical. Lol

OP, I would do this and enjoy some additional TS meals for the adults, or add in a signature meal.

If you don't want to do that, OOP may be the way to go, you just have to crunch the numbers to see for sure.
