Dining Pin Code-Does it save you money?

I had orginally booked my trip from August 14th-21st at the WL with the 35% publick offer. I called back with the FD pin and rebooked my trip for the 12th-18th. The trip itself cost me $70 more but my airfare savings were almost $370! This made my trip so much better because I am able to do much more activites now.

Has anyone else actually saved money with this Pin Code when you orginally booked with the percentage off public offer?

Congratulations! For us, it didn't work. Our airfares were great for our travel dates but if I moved us to an earlier arrival to get FD for the trip, the flight down was higher and of course the room price was higher no longer being value season and w/out the discount.

I had booked with the 35-40% discount pin and paid for our air after booking Disney so can't change dates.

I called Disney yesterday to see if I had the FD pin and received the pin today by email.

I was curious to see what savings we would have got.

All Sport (35% off), 5 day basic ticket, deluxe for 2 adults = $1,837.00
All Sport, 5 day basic ticket, quick service upgrade to deluxe = $1,898.44

So cheaper to stay with the 35% discount.

I am happy with what we have.
