Whether you should get the
DDP depends on what your eating habits are? Do you want a sit-down meal every day? If the answer is yes, you should seriously consider the DDP.
The cost for the DDP is $38.99 a day. This includes a Table Service (TS) credit, a Counter Service (CS) credit, and a Snack per night that you are booked. They can be used however you want, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. So if you are booked for seven nights, you get seven of each type of credit. Most TS restaurants only require one credit, but their are some Signature restaurants that require the use of two. These include the California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish Cafe, and some dinner shows, among others.
TS includes an appetizer, an entree, a dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage. CS includes and entree or combo meal, a dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage. A snack runs the gamut from a bottle of water or soda to an ice cream to a muffin...pretty much anything of a beverage or food item between $3 and $4. Moreover, on all TS meals, the tip is included.
I have used the DDP the last two times I have gone and absolutely loved it. Nearly every restaurant is included. And with very few exceptions, the menu is not limited. I love the convenience of it, not having to think about the money. I mean, it's already paid for! We usually have a CS breakfast, a snack midday, and a TS dinner. Or we have an early CS lunch and a later TS dinner.
Anyway, if you plan to have a TS meal every day, I highly recommend the DDP. And for more info, there's a thread at the top of this DDP page with FAQs that is most helpful.
Enjoy your trip!!
