Dining package necessary for DISNEY ON BROADWAY?

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question.

I have never been to Epcot's Festival of the Arts. I'll be there for the first time next year. I would love to see a DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert!

Is a dining package necessary to get a seat for these shows?

I'm not sure how popular they are. For context, I was at the Flower and Garden Festival this year, and the Garden Rocks concert I wanted to see was packed! Did not end up getting seats, which wasn't a big deal because we ended up listening from the picnic benches.

Even if we do get a dining package, how early should we line up before the show?

We went multiple times a year while local and sadly, it was never packed. We walked in right as the show was starting and got great seats.

The shows are fantastic! Wish more took advantage of them.

That's what I suspected. I was really excited when I saw the shows announced and then realized I never hear anyone talking about the them!

As others have said the dinning package is not necessary. The only reason in my opinion to do it is that all the seating is under the overhang so you’re protected if the weather is poor. I watched one of the shows from the first bench outside the overhang in 2022 when it was raining and it was basically empty besides the dinning packages.

The Disney on Broadway shows usually aren't crowded. It is a low crowd time of year, too. The nights can be chilly that time of year, which also influences the crowds.

The fact that Disney is even offering Dining Packages really surprised me. Seems so unnecessary, just a money grab.
