Dining Options in July and Pool Capacity at GCH

Hoping for advice! We are so excited to return in July. Our family of 5 from Texas has been hoping and waiting for Disneyland to open to out of staters! We’ve booked our trip and are staying at the Grand Californian. But I’m getting a little nervous! I read that there is capacity limitations at the pool. We go hard in the mornings and let our kids play by the pool in the afternoons. Do you think it will be hard to get a spot?

Also, I’m concerned about food. We don’t need sit down meals every day. But does anyone known if Lamplight Lounge is taking walk ins? It’s our favorite spot and I don’t see any reservations available. Do you guys anticipate more reservations opening?

I know I’m asking for speculation but just debating whether to delay this trip to October. We are Disney obsessed and itching to go back, but just want it to be magical! Thank you for any advice! And one last question…who thinks fireworks will be back after July 4th? A girl can dream!!

The pool filled around 1-1:30 this past weekend. Walking by around 6 it seemed more open, but I believe the slide closes before the pool, if that’s important to you. Time will tell if capacity is increased after 6/15.
