Does anyone know if any of the dining rooms are open for breakfast or lunch? I know there is the charachter breakfast, we were just looking for other options besides the buffet.

Thanks

Breakfast yes, can't remember about lunch. However we only ate breakfast once in the main dining room. We preferred the buffet, and lunch was mostly at the pizza, hotdog or sandwich places. Didn't have to wait for yor food that way.

Lumiere's is open for a la carte breakfast & lunch. We enjoy it :) It's nice to have a sit down meal from time to time & be served vs the buffet. We usually do it once a cruise - one breakfast, one lunch.

Enjoy!

The Parrot Cay Character Breakfast is only available on the day that you are assigned - each guests gets a ticket when they get in their stateroom with the date of their character breakfast. Otherwise your options for breakfast are Lumiere's for a sit down breakfast or Top Siders for a buffet.

Lunch is sit down at Lumiere's or Buffet @ Top Siders. There is also lunch available on Deck 9's various food stations - Pluto's, Goofy's & Pinocchio's.
& I know that I remember seeing "singles lunches" at Parrot Cay but otherwise I'm not sure if they are open for regular buffet lunches too.

Room Service is also available 24 hours a day.

Last year on our 8 day med cruise there was no character breakfast so they may have stopped doing that

We had the character breakfast in September on the Magic's WBTA --- so keep your hopes up! :thumbsup2

We did not have a character breakfast on the Magic to Canada last week. We did do tea with Alice, though!

We really enjoyed the sit down breakfast and lunch at Lumieres on sea days. I thought the food was better and it's nice to be served! However if I were on a Caribbean trip, I'm not sure I would give up time by the pool to eat inside!

Of course, it's nice to get inside for a bit so definitely do at least one breakfast and lunch there!

Lumiere's is open for breakfast and lunch each day--the hours are in the Navigator. On some sea days they serve a "brunch" where there are breakfast and lunch items available from about 8 am till 1 pm; normally there are separate breakfast and lunch menus.

AFAIK, the character breakfast is available on 7 night (or longer) sailings of the Magic & Wonder.

:cutie:

we were on the magic 3 weeks ago. Yes Luminers is open for breakfast and lunch. And if you go on a 7 night or longer cruise there will be a character breakfast.

Parrot Cay is open every day for lunch and has the same buffet that topsiders does usually. As for the singles lunch all they do is seat anyone who come into the restaurant as one person at a large table with one of the entertainment cast members. I had actually wanted to sit with some people that I had come into the restaurant with but was not given the opportunity to do so as no one asked if I was with them it was just assumed that because I was alone I was there for the singles lunch.
