I understand on MVMCP nights that MK will close to non ticked guests at 7pm. Can I make a TS dining booking for say 6:45 (and then leave straight after).
We will be going to one of the party nights, I am just looking on ways to extend our park time on our many early closing nights.

I wasn't originally planning hoppers but thinking maybe we will have to.

Yes, but be prepared to be escorted out of the park by a CM after your reservation. And make sure everyone goes to the bathroom if they need to before you leave the restaurant - you won't be allowed to stop by one in the park on your way out.

Don't forget to be punctual for your restaurant reservation made for just a smidgen before park closing.

2. (second part of your two part question) For more park time after dinner, you will need the hopping privilege or party tickets for this night.

Thanks, I really just meant saving park time before 7 by waiting to dine, I know we wont be able to watch parades, ride anything or meet characters and will need to go straight to the exit after we finish our meal. MK is just closing at 7 for 7 of our nights (total) so was just thinking of various options.

You can do this, but make sure you check in early, rather than "on time" so that you do not get turned away. Also, if you can book your ADR at 180 days out, try to do that as well. Park restaurants book up quickly on party nights.

I would make an ADR at California Grill,, leave mk at 7pm, walk to CR, have dinner there around 8pm and enjoy the special fireworks from the observation deck

You get max time in the park, dining, and show without a party ticket

OP, you can book anything up to, but not including 7 PM on party nights. No need to fret about being super early. Just make sure you aren't late. You're supposed to check in 15 minutes early, and that's more than enough.

You will be escorted to the exit after dinner. It's a great touring strategy to use the park as long as you can, then dine instead of leaving.
