Ok, more questions!! Any favorite (inexpensive) places that y'all recommend?
I really want to go to a fondue place (if there is one in Vegas). Any suggestions? please?

One of my favorite meals in Vegas is the breakfast buffet at Paris. The Spice Market buffet at Aladdin is also very good. I don't know of any fondue places -sorry.

The Sunday brunch at the Bellagio is amazing and about $20. There is a long line so get there early.

There is a deli in Ceasers Palace that is amazing too. I forget what it is called.

I loved the Nascar cafe, of course you should really be into Nascar to go there. I went to Gonzalez y Gonzalez (it is in New York New York I think) Pretty good there. This really nice Italian restaurant in Excalibur that was excellent! Nascar cafe was the cheapest of those. The rest of the time we just fended for ourselves and had mcdonalds or something like that. Enjoy it when you are there it is amazing!!

The buffet at the Mirage is good & priced lower that alot of them. We enjoyed Jimmy Buffets & Cheesecake factory. And remember the 2 hot tamles they have a place at MB.

99 cent 1/2 lb hot dogs at Slots-A-Fun are pretty good(next to Circus Circus). Similarly, they have $1.50 hot dogs and strawberry shortcakes in Circus Circus. As mentioned previously, the Paris breakfast buffet is very good. If you want cheap eats, head downtown. The food is good, not as crowded as the strip and it's cheaper, too.

We always go to the restaurant in the Ellis Island Casino (in the block behind Alladin/Paris). It looks like a dump. But the restaurant is really good. They have a steak special - $4.99 for a 16 oz steak, baked potato, salad and vegetable. The restaurant doesnt even have a name - its simply called "The Restaurant".

The cafe inside the Paris Casino that looks like it sits on the steet in Paris is very good, I don't recall the name but me and DH had prime rib and alasken king crab legs with a baked potato and bread for 12.99 a piece......Bargain and Yummy!!

We do a lot of eating in Vegas - mostly Buffets. Not sure what your range would be, but most of the buffets were around $20 and up (Bellagio, I thought was more, but can't recall). Paris is a favorite, as well as the Lobster buffet in Rio ($35) and Cravings at the Mirage. Going for lunch is usually cheaper. Have fun!

Oooh! We did that one a couple of weeks ago. Pricey but totally worth it! If you do go there, make sure you go on an empty stomach!

I really enjoyed the buffet at Excalibur.

It was $14.99 and everything I had was good.

My boyfriend hates buffets and one night he wasn't hungry, so I took advantage of the situation. :)

We just got back from Vegas. Ate at Bellagio for Sunday - ok pricey $27
Paris for dinner buffet - $25 I think very good and has cheese fondue on the buffet. Rio - carnival world buffet - good food dinner about $25.
Go to ratelv.com. Plenty of opinions and ratings. Great website. I also liked lvtalk.com and tripadvisor. I printed out a book of stuff before we went. I referred to it many times.

There is a Melting Pot (Fondue) restaurant in Vegas (http://www.meltingpot.com ), but it is not an inexpensive meal

The two guys at cheapovegas.com reported that they were standing in line for a half pound 99 cent hot dog. A guy ahead of them in line bought one, took a single bite and threw the whole thing in the garbage. So they bailed out.

If the two cheapest guys on the planet won't eat one of these things, that's good enough for me.
