Dining in San Diego HELP please

Looking for favorite restaurants, food trucks, overall best dining in San Diego. We are staying in San Diego for 2 nights and plan to eat out. We're planning to spend a day at Sea World and dine with Shamu for lunch. Also we we're planning a day at the zoo. Food porn would be really helpful too. TIA

We ate at one of the Karl Strauss restaurants in La Jolla and loved it so much that we ate at the one downtown.

Also in La Jolla, there is a little bitty restaurant called Cafe Milano. We ate there our last night and wished we could eat more.

Yes, we are renting a van, we're a party of 7, and staying in Ocean Side. Also we're looking for different foods, and restaurants that are just overall very good. Thanks for the tips so far. Anyone else?
