Dining in Hollywood Studios at or after closing....

I know that HS closes at seven, but can I make reservations for 7:00 or 7:30 at 50s Prime time Cafe? I'm asking because I hope to make dinner reservations during Christmas time and I don't want to miss the Osborne lights. Has anyone ever dined in HS at or after regular closing hours?

Maybe...if the restaurant is taking reservations until 7:30, even if the park closes at 7 you will be able to have a late dinner.

I have seen ADR times available for after the park closes, but I do not know if it is all year round, or only during busy times. I would try to get the last possible time, then check periodically as it gets closer to your trip dates to see if they've extended the restaurant's hours. I remember last December reservations after park closing were available.

As far as the Osborne Lights, last December the lights stayed on for at least an hour after the park closed. If there is a Fantasmic scheduled at park closing, they will stay on even longer because many people go see the lights after the show ends.

DH and I had an amazing experience at DHS in December.

We had 8:05PM ADR at Sci-Fi and got finished around 8:40. (YES, we eat FAST!!) Studios closed at 8pm that particular evening.

After our dinner, we noticed that the Osborne Lights were still on so we walked over. There were only a few others there and it was amazing! The music was playing, the lights were dancing, snow was falling and the CM encouraged us to stay!

We walked around for 20 min and then they did a small ceremony to turn the lights off. That happened at 9PM.

We had a great time and it was so much fun to be able to walk around and take it all in with no one around!
