We just booked for 5 wonderful nights and I hope to make dining a priority (since we got "free" dining).

We are already going to Garden Grill and Chefs de France in Epcot.

Suggestions?

Any place romantic?

We are two adults on DxDP. We got an ADR for Cali Grill which is supposed to be romantic, and it's right around the same time as Wishes so hopefully we will have a good view of that :thumbsup2

San Angel Inn is very romantic. Located in the Mexico Pavillion you are seated inside, but the restaurant is decorated to look like you are outside. The little river (which is the boat ride) next to the dining area reminds you of being in Mexico. So perfect IMO.

The food is very good. I would advise that you look at the menu as it is not tex mex style but more traditional in it's dishes. Just so you are aware.
It is a little gem in my opinion.

Dh and I like the food and decor at Tutto Italia. Its a 1 ts meal
Kona dinner - foodwise for 1 ts, not too romantic though
Sanaa - at AKL is 1 ts if you like that kind of cuisine
Cape May Buffet if you like seafood
Le Cellier is 1 ts for lunch if you can get it
Coral Reef can be hit or miss

I have to say, I think Tokyo Dining get overlooked. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, this restaurant has good food, and a wonderfully quiet/calm atmosphere. We love to go there and just wind down. :)

If in the Epcot area, What about the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk or Yatchman Steakhouse at the YC?

Or if in the MK area - Citricos or Narcoossee's, which are at the Grand Floridian may be options.

The Cali Grill is nice, but keep in mind it can get very loud and I'm not sure it's the most romantic place on property. Not all tables have a view of the castle and in those instances, DH and I have gone out on the observation deck to watch. Depending on the time of year, it may be somewhat cold for that.

Not sure what you consider "romantic" but California Grill is a busy and bustling restaurant. It is not quiet or sedate at all, except possibly in the Wine Room (which has no view of MK)

Likewise, Le Cellier is small, loud when it is crowded, and the tables are pretty much on top of each other. It is not romantic.

We love Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. Relaxing atmosphere, the staff is very nice, and the food is excellent. It's a nice break from the noise and busy feeling in the parks.:thumbsup2

We had a great couples dinner at Narcoosees. Definitely quieter and a lovely atmosphere.

Go for Shula's at the Swan and Dolphin resort as long as you don't mind paying $80 for a steak. But it's perfect if you're looking for the classic romantic setting (low lights, flowers on the table, no crowds, no kids, lots of wine). :lovestruc

I would recommend -

The Wave - kind of romantic, definitely nicer atmosphere
Cape May Buffet Dinner - more for food than ambiance, great crab legs
Sanaa - very nice atmosphere, good food too
San Angel Inn - romantic, yummy beef there
Tutto Italia - kind of romantic, good food

Enjoy!
