For those of you who had a table service meal during MNSSHP this year, how was it? What restaurant did you eat at? What time were your ressies? Were the characters in costume? Did you enjoy it or was it a waste of valuable party time? I am planning on taking the family next year, and we are thinking of eating at the LTT. Any inside info will be greatly appreciated!

We dined at LTT and had reservations at 5pm before our MNSSHP. It was wonderful!!! The food was good, it was nice and relaxing and the characters were in costume. We made our reservations early enough that it didn't cut into our party time. We were done probably around 630ish (got there late because of the darn busses) and still had time to get a few rides in at Tomorrowland before the party.

I would definatly do it again. I am just sad I didn't do it for MVMCP this year.

Hello..we had a 5:20 ADR on 10/30 for LTT and it was great! We checked in around 5:00 and were seated right away. Our server was Moe and he was wonderful. Almost immediately after sitting down Pluto came to our table. We also saw Minnie, Goofy and Chip and Dale. The interaction was great and they were wearing costumes. Even the CM at the check in desk was dressed up!
The food was good as well. You start out with salad and rolls. Then you are served turkey, ham and flank steak on a platter with stuffing. You also get mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans and gravy. The gravy is served seperately in a gravy boat. Our dessert was apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. I was expecting it to be a cherry cobbler but the apple cobbler was delicious. We never felt rushed, we never had to ask for a drink refill. I believe the whole meal took about an hour. It was worth it in my opinion :earsboy:

Another Vote for LTT!

Also, when you order your tix for MNSSHP make your ADR for LTT! If you make it early enough then you won't miss any of the fun!

We also did LTT, our ADR was for 6:10. We showed up at 6 and were seated right away. The food was great, one of our favorite meals...nothing too fancy, just like Thanksgiving at home! It was just my DH & I and we were in costume...the characters came to our table for pictures and the interaction was loads of fun...Pluto kept licking my face after I told him he was my favorite puppy!! :rotfl: When we came out a little after 7, the party was in full swing!!!! Disney knows how to throw a party!!!! I definately would go there again :earsgirl:

We did Kona at the Poly at 5:00 pm. Food was decent, not great, but good for the price. Meal was leisurely. Were at the MK by 6:30. No characters.

But I don't think I would do the Halloween party again. I didn't think it was worth the money for us. If I had Mountain kids - there were no lines for the mountains. Or if I had night owls. But we were dragging nearly sleeping children out of the park after fireworks.

LTT at 5:50 and it was SO SLOW...nto only did we wait for a table our waitress Abby was so very slow...it was one of our longest meals and on a night when most people are anxious to get in and get out to the party.

Last year we did CP and had a 45 min wait but since it was a buffet it was rather quick. I think next year on party nights we will do a counter service or eat at the resort before heading to the park.
