There are no expiration dates on the certificates I bought. The promotion changes frequently. Right now the promo code is
BIG to save 80% off the usual $10 price for a $25 certificate.
By the way, I loved my visits to Cork and Dublin.
Thank you for your help. I just printed certs for House of Blues at DTD for next Easter (my Teen son will love this) AND got 1 Cert for the hotel restaurant in New York & the other for Rosie O'Grady's (we're visiting NYC in December). A bargain for $6.
Thank you all so much for the 'tip'
Nancy-I love Dublin and Cork too. We were in Dublin a few weeks ago (we always stay there over the summer & at xmas for a few days).
We usually also holiday in West Cork in summer BUT because we're going to NYC and watching our Euro, we didn't get to Cork this year.
We live in Kilkenny & at the moment, the Annual Art Festival is on & the place is alive! Its full of street theatre and music. There are many fun events and all sorts of contemporary & traditional shows/music/storytelling and reading and many child events too.
There is art to be found in every street corner and window. We are awash with crafts & woodwork & clay & friezes and all sorts of prints and paintings and canvasses.
Its amazing. I just love the 'buzz'.
Its the same every year around this time and because it is a medieval city with castle and cobblelock streets and an 'inn' dating back to the 1400's, it really is a beautiful historic setting for this event.
Its a great place to be right now!!
I hope you come back to Ireland and visit Kilkenny when you do-even if just for 1 day.you won't regret it!
I hear Aer Lingus are doing the most amazing vacation packages from USA (New York) to Dublin. The price of a weeks accommodation & car hire included in a package for the same price as normal 'economy/coach class' air tickets/fare?
WOW
Wish they'd do the offer the other way around!!
Anyway off to get a cup of tea and some freshly baked banana bread and scones (baked today & bought from our lovely Castle Market)-Everything from fish to bread to pies to vegetables, chocolate and cakes and cheeses and dips all organic and made(caught/reared) within a few miles of Kilkenny City.
Regards
Lesley
Oh and no I don't work for the local tourist board -honest!!
