Dining credits linked to magic band?

It has been almost 3 years since our last trip so no magic bands. Previously all our dining credits were in a "pool" with everyone on the reservation. My teens are wondering if their individual entitlements are now linked to their magic bands or if it is still the pool system? TIA

pool, your kids can buy TS for the whole resort,pools are scary
