If we have tickets and dining for 4 days, yet we are staying for 8 days....are the dining credits good for our length of stay? I am not asking if we have 8 days of dining credits. I am wondering if we can still use any credits remaining on the cards for our length of stay. Or, can you only use your credits the same day you use your park tickets?

Thanks so much to a confused person who may be interested in the dining plan....

The DDP number of days is based on the number of nights of your resort stay.

Are you splitting your stay? If so, then whichever part of the stay has the dining, your credits expire at midnight of your checkout day.

If you are staying at the same resort with the same confirmation number, then you would have to add DDP for each night of your stay. Regardless of how many days your park passes are for.

Does that help?

If you get the Dining Plan on the MYW package, you get 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack credit per person per each night's stay at the resort.

Even if you only purchased tickets to attend the parks for 4 days, you would still have 8 credits per person on the MYW plus dining package because it is a promotion tied to staying at the resort (you pay full rack rack at the resort to get the "value" of the dining plan.)

See? I told you I was confused. I thought that the Dining Plan was for the amount of days you purchased tickets for. Thanks so much. Back to the researching...

As others have said, your dining credits are tied to your resort stay not your tickets. You could have a one day ticket, but be staying at the resort for 7 days, so therefore you would have 7 days of dining. You must purchase dining for the entire length of your stay, you can not just choose to have it a couple of days. The only way to have a partial package is to book a package for about 4 nights, with at least a one day ticket and the dining package for 4 nights. Then you could book a room only reservation for a couple of more days and not purchase tickets and dining. But do have to check out and check in between stays. When you do that, your credits are only good until midnight of your check out day of your first reservation. Make sense?
