I'm going in a few weeks and want to make sure what I've read is accurate. As far as counter service credits go, Disney makes no formal distinction between adult and child. Yes, if you have a child, they'd like you to order from the child's menu but you don't have to, at counter service. At table service you have to adhere to the adult/child breakdown unless it's a buffet? Of course snacks make no difference adult or child. We've taken our children on the dining plan the last two years and I don't think we ever ordered them a counter service meal as a child's meal, we just ordered what they'd like. In some cases we only ordered one platter of something and they shared to stretch the credits. It all worked perfectly so I'm hoping for no changes in the process in December.
