So... If you had to pick your top 10 restaurants to go to during a stay where would they be. If you like, please include if it would be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We'd like to branch out a bit this next trip. (We have two kids if kid-friendly vs. not makes a difference).

Our family favorites (not in any specific order…)

*Hoop-de-Doo Review
*Crystal Palace (although not this time, my kids say they are too old
*Whispering Canyon
*Chef Mickey's
*Tusker House (breakfast only)
*Pecos Bills
*Pizza Planet
*Tony's
*Ohana's
*California Grill (to see Wishes!)

Most all WDW restaurants as kid-friendly, so I didn't really use that as a criteria. I also did not include any QS locations.

1. Narcoossee's (dinner - Signature)
2. Jiko (dinner - Signature)
3. California Grill (dinner - Signature)*
4. Artist Point (dinner - Signature)
5. Via Napoli (lunch or dinner)
6. Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
7. Boma (breakfast)
8. 'Ohana (dinner)
9. Raglan Road (brunch, lunch, or dinner)
10. Rose & Crown (dinner)

Honorable mention also include Le Cellier (lunch/dinner Signature), Yak & Yeti (lunch/dinner), Sci Fi (lunch/dinner), and Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch/dinner Signature).

*I haven't been since it underwent renovation, but it was one of my favorites before that.

we are doing liberty tree tavern this time for dinner, we've never been before, but i hear it's wonderful! you recommended lunch, so i'm curious why lunch over dinner? my ADR could be easily moved, so i'm wondering if lunch is the better option?

Lunch is an a la carte menu, whereas dinner is a Thanksgiving-style family-style meal. While I do like Thanksgiving-fare, I like the Colony Salad and Ooey Gooey Toffee cake better (neither are available at dinner).

Rose and Crown (coming from a Brit, their fish and chips and Sunday roasts are as close as you'll get!)
Olivia's (dinner)
The Plaza (dinner, but you could just get a dessert... They are just divine!)
Wolfgang Puck Express (ANYTIME. EVERYDAY. Their food is as close to perfect as you're going to get!)

And, if you're about, The Mara is the best QS in a hotel I've seen- it's at AKL (Jambo house). Le Cellier is also my younger brothers favourite, although as it's now permenantly a signature, I don't know if it's worth it :)

A restaurant rating depends on many things; personal taste, personal experience, ambiance, the reason for going, and of course #1... the food. Because of this you should have a broad compilation. It will be interesting to pick out the top 10 that appear on most of the lists compiled here.

Here is my list in no particular order:

1. Ragland Road - Lunch / Dinner
2. 50's Prime Time Cafe - Lunch / Dinner
3. Jiko - The Cooking Place - Dinner
4. Citricos - Dinner
5. Ohana - Breakfast
6. Whispering Canyon Cafe - Breakfast
7. Teppan Edo - Dinner
8. Cooke's of Dublin - Lunch
9. Chefs de France - Lunch / Dinner
10. Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles - Breakfast

10. Any place with Mickey Ears ice cream! Yum!

Places we WOULDN'T go back to:
1. Coral Reef- food wasn't bad, but we waited over 2 hours to get it with a reservation.
2. Crystal Palace- pretty place but boring food and my kids aren't into Winnie
3. Via Napoli- my husbands food was ice cold...I mean frozen, with ice crystals.

Our maybe we'd go back list AFTER we try some new spots:

Signatures: (all dinner)
- Jiko
- Flying Fish
- Artist Point
- California Grill

TS/No characters:
- Boma (I hear the breakfast is better but I've only done dinner)
- Biergarten (lunch and dinner are similar)
- Liberty Tree Tavern (I like both lunch and dinner but they're different)

TS/Characters (I've only done breakfast at these and can't comment on other meals):
- Tusker House
- Crystal Palace

- Hoop-de-Doo Revue (dinner show)

Excluding signatures, I'd replace those four with 50s Prime Time, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, Sanaa, and Chefs de France, all of which are TS with no characters and similar at lunch or dinner.

Most of my choices are dinner cause that's when we usually sit down for dinner. My top 10 are
Todd English's Blue Zoo. Food and service were exceptional and they were great with my kids
California Grill. Always a favorite
Flying Fish. Food and atmosphere were great. Service was lacking
Artist Point. Good with kids and great food
Maya breakfast or dinner is YUM!
LE Cellier. Haven't been able to get in for a while so things may have changed
1900 park Fare for breakfast buffet and characters
Narcosee's. It's been a while
Garden Grill. Food is comfort food but character interaction is great
I need to go to
Jiko's
Sanaa
