Dining calamity !

What with Kouzzina closing the end of September and 'Ohana possibly being closed whilst we're there due to the DVC expansion at The Poly thats 2 of my ADRs that now have to be rethought.

Does anyone have any ideas for an alternative for 'Ohana. I was going to try and eat there when MK had evening EMH so we could use the monorail to get to MK. It was also going to be an opportunity for us all to go and see The Poly as in all our visits we've never been there

I have heard good thing about Kona at the poly, or you could try the Wave at the contemporary.

We've had good experiences with the Grand Floridian Cafe.

Just read over on the US side that the 'Ohana information was a false alarm So only Kourzzina to figure out an alternative and as The Flying Fish and Big River Grille is already on our list that leaves nothing

Try the Captains Grill at the Yacht Club. I had the best steak I have Ever eaten there. Better than some of the two credit places at Disney.

I would probably switch from kouzzina to Cape May Café. But you need to like seafood ...

we always eat at the poly on a rest day and stay on to watch the fireworks at the beach. However, we are not fans of 'Ohana's - very plain over cooked meat and prawns (gave it a 2nd shot just to see if our 1st visit was back luck, but alas 2 yrs later and it was just the same and probably one of the worst meals we have had in disney). To us the food in Kona is much better, we now always eat here, but the setting is a bit strange being just off the hotel atrium. Other good restaurants that are easy to get to from MK are- Cali grill in the Contemporary , and artist point in Wilderness lodge. We have not tried Wave yet or any of the Grand Floridian restaurants
