Ok, I know I should know this, but I want to make sure it's correct before I give the answer to someone. My neighbors, no kids, are making their first trip to the World this Friday. They are staying at Riverside, and have several dinner reservations at other resorts. What is the best way to get to the MK resorts with no car. Do they bus to the MK and hop a monorail from there? Also, to get to Epcot resorts, bus to MGM and walk over from there?

Thanks!

Bumping this up since I wondered the same thing.

(we'll be there Friday at POR too! hi to your neighbors :earsgirl: )

Yep - bus to MK and hit the monorail for monorail resorts. Just need to check how late the monorail is running - we ran into issues w/ our Cali Grill dinner not getting done til 11 or 11:30? We had to take the bus to DTD and then hop the bus to our resort.

Which would be another option for POR folks wanting "leisurely travel" - boat to DTD and take a bus to whichever resort.

For the Epcot resorts, I'd take the bus to MGM and then take the boat from MGM to the Epcot resorts. The first stop on the boat is Swan/Dolphin, but you can easily walk to Boardwalk, from at least the first stop, and I believe you could walk to Beach/Yacht too from the first boat stop.

A good rule of thumb is to allow one hour travel time and don't rush yourself! :goodvibes

We've run into that also. Sometimes it is just easier to jump into a taxi and pay the fare. It don't cost that much and your back before the buses make all the stops.
