Dining buddy

I had a request into Disney dining buddy for a lunch at BOG. They've notified me twice today of an opening and I immediately searched the Disney site to find no reservations available. The first time it took me 2 minutes, the second time 1 minute. I kept searching every five minutes or so just to be sure but no luck. Anyone had any luck with this service? It's so frustrating

Actually now that I'm looking more closely, both alerts are for the same time, so probably it's saying it's still available, so it's not as if they notified me and someone snapped it up before I got it

Yes, I have used it three times. I went to WDW Aug 13-16 - booked that in June - no ADR's available. I signed up for dining buddy for a BOG dinner and rec'd the notification a few days later. I have them text me, and I click the link and it takes me to sign into MDE and then has the reservation ready to go.

Just last week we decided to book Dec 13-19 - again no ADRs. Signed up for BOG and CRT. Got the BOG reservation the same day and CRT just came in today, although it was for 9:35 pm.. yikes!

How are you trying to book the reservation? Through the email or a text? I have been very successful with the text alerts.

Are you clicking the link in the text alert as soon as it comes through?

I signed up for both text and email. When I got the text, I quickly looked at what time the ADR was for. Then, I bypassed Buddy's link and went directly to MDE and searched for that time and booked it that way.

I'm trying everything, I've clicked links in the texts, I've tried the app, tried the website and called Disney lol. I'm so sad!

I was able to get BOG Breakfast and Dinner on different days using that service. Keep trying!

I think it just takes a bit of luck and persistence. I missed a CRT this weekend because it came in at 6 am. it came several times, but by the time I saw it, it was gone. Then I had a 1900 park fair one come and I saw it instantly and snapped it up and got it. I am not sure when you are travelling but last time I used it I found the week before I was getting all sorts of notifications, way more than in the several preceding weeks as people were shuffling times.

I have had two alerts for BOG for dinner..but as soon as I use the link..they are gone. I got one last night and I tried within seconds of getting the alert..no luck. I am still holding out hope for something!! Good luck!!

it's worked for me. I have received 3 texts for the week of Dec 1st-5th for Askerhus and CRT. I got a text last night at midnight for CRT and booked it right away.

I've been trying to use it to get bog and no luck. Only once did I actually see the ressie when I went and looked and of course the system was down and would not let me book it, I tried for over an hour using different computers and phones with no luck.

Yes..it's a paid thing. 8 bucks for each reservation you want watched.

I also watch on my own. But I can't watch all the time. LOL. I really had a hard time deciding to do it. But I'm only watching for one reservation..so I figured I would give it a try.

Holy Moly! I watch mine myself. I guess to each his own though.

I also watch them on my own but can't check constantly. My 6 year old is a total foodie and this is his first trip so BOG is high on our list and even though we booked 175 days out we have been unable to get it. Our trip is coming up October 11, so I'm keeping fingers crossed that the closer we get something will come up.
