We have tickets for MVMCP on 11/11. We made an ADR at Plaza Restaurant for their last seating at 4:50. Not only is that very early for us, would our meal end up being rushed, because of closing? The party doesn't begin until 7pm. I don't see it taking us long to finish our meal at PR. Does the park close between regular hours and the party? Would we be better off getting an ADR at one of the four places that will be open? We would eat outside the park, but I'm not sure how bad the crowds will be at 7:00.:confused3 Any advice is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know the park doesn't close like it used to.
We are going on 11/30 and I was able to get Liberty Tree Tavern for a party of 2 for 5:55pm, I told them i was going to the party...maybe that helped with getting the later seating? I'm not sure
If you are not set on the plaza try LTT or CP for around 6, by the time you finish the party will be just starting.

Hope this helps!

The park doesn't close so you will have plenty of time enjoy your meal. I went to PP&P on Monday and we had ADR at Tony's Town Square for 6:30PM., we didn't actually get seated until 7PM...We had a nice dinner, then I went to buy pins for DH and then he went back to ASMo and I enjoyed the party. I didn't even get my wristband until after 8PM.. Fireworks and parade were amazing. I did all the meet & greets instead of the rides.

I think 4:50 is a great time. Most of the planning books & websites recommend a 4-4:30 ADR. You want to be finished eating in plenty of time to not miss any of the party. Your ADR will allow you plenty of time, even if the restaurant is running late. Getting out around 6 allows you to ride a few rides while the non-partygoers clear out for the evening. Personally, I wouldn't want a later ADR.

last year they started letting us in at 4pm for the MVMCP and yes you may start riding rides at that time, or have dinner or whatever you like...they just don't start the actual party activities until 7pm...have a great time:santa:
