This October we have reservations at the Yachtsman Steakhouse.
As of right now, we plan to take our DS and DD with us to dinner. (They will be 4.5 yrs and 18 months old then) I'm happy to say that our kids are usually very well behaved while we're out to eat... as long as it's not a 2 hour meal. Since Yachtsman is considered one of Disney's more expensive places to eat (we're on the Dining plan and biting the bullet by using 2 credits each here), I'm starting to wonder if it typically takes longer to eat here? Is this not a very "kid friendly" restaurant? Should I pay for a in-room babysitter for the kids, while DH and I enjoy the last night of our trip alone? The sitter would cost a minimum of $76 for four hours. If we do get the sitter, maybe we could then enjoy a walk around the Boardwalk before returning to the room.
