Of those three, I would definately say Finnegan's. My personal favorite is Louie's...great pizza!

I didn't really like Finnegan's, Mel's Drive-in is one of my favorites, though. Love the atmosphere:thumbsup2

Out of those three we would definitely go with Finnegans.:goodvibes Preferrably though, but not mentioned in your post, we love Lombardi's Seafood and Grille. We love seafood and their seafood is awesome and not so expensive.=0) The restaurant is located in the jaws section of universal studios.:)

Finnegan's by far. I won't go near Mel's or Monster Cafe again. The food at both is absolutely horrible. Finnegan;s is a must do for us every trip. The food, atsmophere and service is top notch. Lombards is ok. It would probably be my second choice, although we had good food from international food and film festival too.

We ate at Finnegan's this past trip last month and really enjoyed it. I had the pot pie while my wife went with the corned beef and cabbage. We both enjoyed our meal.

we ate at international food and film whike on our trip I think it was 6/5 and the food was horrible but thunderfalls was good

We did the meal deal 2 days on our trip last week, and did Mel's and Louie's the food was very good and fresh at both places. Mel's is actually very cool with the 50's dinner atmosphere and the concert outside was fun. hth

We ate at Mel's last year - our first meal at Universal and really enjoyed it. Of course, we were starving cause we had just arrived after a long drive down to FL. We loved the atmosphere. We also ate at Monster' s later that week and enjoyed it too.

We ate at the Monster Cafe this past trip and neither of us cared for the food. I do recommend peeking inside or just having a drink there if you have time though. It's a cute place.

We ate at Monster's Cafe just because we were a group of 14 and had the discount coupon from the Entertainment Book. I'd heard less than favorable reviews and maybe having low expectations was a plus but we were pleasantly surprised by the food. It wasn't amazing or even great - but it was absolutely fine for counter service food. My chicken was perfectly acceptable. My husband liked his salad. My friend liked her pasta. None of the kids complained about the pizza.

I'm not saying that this is an ideal location for a romantic dinner and a proposal of marriage...but it certainly wasn't inedible.
