We have a priority seating at CA grill for Oct. 26th, the same night we intend on going to MNSSHP. My question is as to dress code for CA grill if we go to the party from there directly.
Any help is appreciated.

I dined at the California Grill on a night when they had the MNSSHP just a week ago and there was a couple sitting next to us dressed up like Pirates,... makeup and all. No problems! :cool1:

According to Disney's definition Business Casual can include jeans or shorts as long as they are nice and not raggy and a Polo Shirt. You could not wear a tank-top or t-shirt.

We dined there as well and I wore sneakers, shorts and a "nice" plain white t-shirt. My wife wore a skirt and blouse--nothing too dressy and my two boys (8 & 6) wore jean shorts and collared shirts. We were not underdressed by any means, but there were a lot of people there dressed for nice dinner. I had heard the same thing about no t-shirts but I had no problem and I was planning on schlepping through the parts every day so I had not even packed a collared shirt.

When is a "code" not a "code"?? When it isn't enforced.
What they may tell you and what "really is" are often 2 different things. Lots of folks do dress up for CG--but many don't. They would be awfully stupid to keep out patrons who dress for the Halloween Party. I have always worn a Disney T at CG and never, ever been a problem.

We ate there last moth and were very surprised to see so many dress very casually. For a decent meal we would always make an effort.
