Dining and Halloween party question

We are going to the Halloween party on September 5. I know they start letting people in at 4 PM. We are not going into any parks earlier in the day cause we want to be rested up for that night. Will an ADR at CP at 4 PM work? Also, anyone know if the characters will be dressed up that early for the party? Thanks a bunch!!

I would think you would be late for the ADR if they don't let you through the turnstyles until 4pm. Regardless of crowds it will take you probably 5-10 minutes to walk up to the castle. Sorry, don't know about the characters.

I agree with the OP, you might want to try to get a 4:15 or 4:30. You figure you have everyone trying to get to the park early for MNSSHP, then you have bag check, then fight the crowd to get to CP. I wouldn't want to see you lose your ADR for that! I'd check, just my 2 cents.

If you can get an ADR for a little bit later, say 4:15-4:30 it would be better. They won't let you in until 4 with your party ticket.
The characters at CP do not dress up for the party. The ones at LTT do wear masks and such though.

Hi, we are going to MNSSHP on the 16th of Sept and have reservations for CRT at 4:15 that day. We have a park hopper so can we get into the park earlier that day to make sure we get to our dinner reservations or how does this work? IF so then where do we go to get our armbands either before or after we eat?

You can get your wristbands as soon as they are set up to hand them out. I can't remember what time we got ours last year but I know it was before we ate at LTT at 5. This year our reservations are a bit later 6:35, so we plan on getting there earlier gettin our wristbands eating then going to enjoy the rides and everything.

Thanks for all the replys. I think I am going to take my chances. The person who scheduled my ADR and the other one who I talked to when I called back to try and get a different time, both said as long as I have my ADR com number with me, I should have no problem.
