Dining and Disney Gift Card

Hey everyone! I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, but I'll try it out. I am planning on using the $500 gift card I will recieve from the current vacation offer to help cover my dining costs. I know that most Disney owned restaurants accept the disney gift card, but I was unsure on the Downtown Disney restaurants, like Rainforest Cafe.
In order to make use of the discount, can I charge a meal to my "Key to the World card" and then pay that off at the hotel using my gift card? Are there any in-park dining options that won't work with the gift card that you know of? Thanks for any help you might have!

I'm pretty sure DTD eateries are not privie to any of the gift cards, rewards, etc. specifically Disney. You can call RFC direct (contact numbers are on their website) to be sure. If I could suggest getting the TIW (Tables In Wonderland) card, you'll save a straight 20% off the total bill (liquor included). It's good for a full 12 months and we end up saving an additional $400 using that!

You know charging to the room might be a good way around this if they won't accept the gift card as payment. I know the T-Rex Cafe will charge to your room key. What I would do is call Disney Dining directly and talk to them about the situation and ask them some questions. But keep in mind that if you hang up and call Disney back you might very well get a CM that tells you something completely different!

Keep in mind Tables in Wonderland cards are only available to Florida Residents and Annual Pass Holders.
