Dining alone at a Character Breakfast?

I was just wondering if anyone had ever dined alone at a Character Breakfast? The reason that I ask is because I'd love to go to a Character Breakfast (during marathon weekend - next year) but I'm not sure that the friend that I will into it.

Do you think it is strange to dine alone at a Character breakfast?

I dined alone at a character breakfast in December, Cape May Cafe. I wouldn't for years, because I, too, thought it might be strange. However, I loved it and I plan to do it again! I had so much fun watching the characters interacting with the children. And every character gave me a hug and a handshake as they went by. I'm sure I could have easily gotten a server to take a picture, but I didn't want one-just the fun of watching and visiting with them was enough for me. I'm already planning my next solo character meal.

I too, was uneasy about going to character meals solo at first, but they are great. I'd recommend going to one that is family-style, since I was a little uneasy about keeping on getting up and going up to the buffets, though I do make exceptions for CP and Boma.

Thanks disneyfav4ever and Simba's mom. I just thought that I would feel a bit odd going to Character Breakfast by myself and would be heartbroken if I didn't go to at least one on my trip in January as it has become a bit of a tradition.

I've done the solo character breakfast and dinners! I had a ball! Chef Mickeys, Poly, LTT (dinner)!

This coming wknd I'll be solo at Crystal Palace and O'Hana's breakfasts! First time solo but nothing is stopping me from seeing my favorite characters! lol
I'm also going to Cindy's castle lunch later in the wknd with a friend and her DD

I have tenatively scheduled a solo character meal, so this question applies to me as well. I still don't know if I'm going to do the meal, but I figured it would be easier to cancel the reservation than try and get one if I decide I want to do it.

I did this Last December and I was a little un-easy at first but the CM's and Character's made me feel at home.I did LTT for MVMCP and Chef Mickey's and really had a good time. Even the guest at the next table took my picture with the characters and at Chef Mickey's the CM's took them as well as another Guest. I truely adore my pictures mostly the one I have with Goofy Santa What a treasure.
