Say we have 8 days of dining plan. As an older couple on our own, which restaurants should we not miss on the trip? Should we actually do CRT, or leave that for the families? We would be using 3 TS for breakfasts at Boma and Kona, and dinner at Ohana's, which we could change to CG. We have only eaten at 50'sPT onsite before. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

This is our first time to do the dinning plan, so we are going to do LeCellier for sure. We are going to do WCC at Wilderness Lodge and Liberty Tree also. We love Liberty Tree and have heard great reviews on LeCellier so we are doing it for sure.

If eating in the Castle is something you want to do - do it! (I don't know when you are going before or after the changes so cost may be another factor - or 2 dining credits)

Thank you. It does seem that Le Celllier is very popular, so yes, think we would add it. It's February we go, so CRT would be 2 credits, so may be better using the credits elsewhere.

Visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It has two very good restaurants: Boma (buffet) and Jiko (signature restaurant). Both have delicious food. Give yourself some time to tour the Lodge. It's beautiful.

Really fancy seeing AKL. Is the food at Boma's dinner very spicy or different? My husband is a meat and two veg guy!!!

Boma is fabulous, and you should definitely give it a try, both for the food and for the experience of hanging out at at AKL. Go early to give yourself a chance to wander the Lodge and take in the beautiful architecture, as well as spending time out on the Savannah overlook, where you can watch for animals.

Boma has a very wide variety of food - some of it pretty plain (like prime rib and roasted chicken) and some more exotic African stuff. I think your hubby can find plenty to enjoy, especially their great desserts.

We loved Olivia's at Old Key West. Went to DTD and took the boat to OKW. We ordered crabcakes and Andou wings for appeteizers, had the filet mignon and shrimp for our entrees, and tiramasu for dessert. Yum. Loved the boat ride, and Olivia's was very quiet and quaint. Really did seem like a Louisiana cafe. WCC at WL was another favorite, but on a whole different plane. Kind of loud and crazy, but we are still talking about the antics of the servers.

Eating at the castle is a unique experience! My husband and I had the character breakfast on our honeymoon and loved it! Don't think it's just for families! Also, there are many great places at Epcot. Restaurant Marrakesh is one of our favoriates.
