Hello,

We will be returning for our 2nd time this fall and I was hoping to get some ideas for spots to eat at MK. We would like to try new experiences this time around.

Last time we did:
BOG PPO breakfast
CRT for lunch
Skipper Canteen for dinner
Casey's (hot dog)
Pecos (tamales for Xmas party)

We have the dining plan, so price shouldn't be a factor.
Just 2 adults, no kids... so we'd rather not with character dining or buffets.
Is BOG the best choice for PPO? We got done so fast last time we were able to ride 7DMT twice before other guests entered.

Thanks for your help!

Tony's is nice. I love Lady and the Tramp and so am partial, but I've always had a really good shrimp scampi there.

QS we like Columbia Harbor House and a great Pre-Park breakfast option is The Plaza for breakfast. The Lobster Benny was SO good

I love The Plaza and end up there almost every time I go. Definitely flies under the radar I feel. I also love lunch at BOG. Good food, good price, I’m not typically on the DDP so idk about value for that though

Columbia Harbour House for quick service & the Plaza for table service. Very good food at both places, and a good variety of options. Plaza also has all-you-care-to-enjoy milkshakes, so.............

Columbia Harbor House for QS. Plaza for lunch or dinner. The all you can drink shakes are great but when you do two servings it is allot. But still it’s worth it. Outside of those and what you have done already there is not allot more. Friars Nook has good Braut.

I love COlumbia harbor house for lunch and sitting on the upper level. It’s usually quiet and peaceful. And I also recommend LTT for dinner. Or you could try BoG for dinner, it has a different vibe then breakfast or lunch. Or you could always leave the park and try a resort for dinner.

Honestly, being that you are two adults, I would suggest leaving the park for either a TS or CS meal. Hop on the monorail or a boat and see what the resorts have to offer.

Best QS IMO:
You cannot beat Geyser Point at WL. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. This is certainly not something you want to do during a downpour but otherwise this would be my go to.

My other QS favorite right now is at the Contempo Cafe at CR...specifically for the Italian Beef Sub.

Best TS IMO:
Assuming you are using 1 TS credit...
The Wave. For any meal. They do a fantastic job on the food there. The perfect egg is of course a favorite (only available at dinner).

Another TS you should consider trying is the Grand Floridian Cafe clearly at the GF. Their food is pretty darn good (not as good as the wave) and it will allow you to explore the GF as well as check out the new Enchanted Rose Bar.

I do think the lunch is okay, because it should just be one credit. Dinner is 2 since it's "signature dining"

A fun thing to do is watch vlogs about this. I love watching dfb vlogs. You can see pictures of the food that way too. Be warned tho, dfb becomes addicting!

BOG PPO Is indeed the best choice if you are looking for access to the back of the park and rides right before/at Rope Drop.

I like LTT at lunch over dinner because I like the salad you can order from the menu at lunch. At dinner it is Family Style AYCE and the menu doesn't appeal to me as much.

I don't disagree with the PP that a monorail resort meal is nice. I like the QS at the poly, but there are lots of good options at those resorts.

For QS in MK I like CHH. Also it gets some hate, but we have enjoyed the chicken at Cosmic Rays. Sleepy Hallow has 2 things I lOVE but they aren't on the dining plan-the nutella fruit and waffle and the chicken and waffle sandwich.

I think we've watched so much DFB, everything seems like a repeat! We've started watching Beyond the Kingdoms Foodie Friday for new stuff.

The only suggestion I make about MK when it comes to food: If its not sleepy hollow for a quick bite for breakfast or Columbia Harbor House, leave the park. Skipper used to be excellent but it has fallen into the abyss of bad table service at MK. You have Wave, Cali Grill, Narcoosees, and Citricos right out on the monorail, and for a less expensive bite Kona and GF Cafe.
