So when I make the online ADR it asked me to input celebrations. What exactly are these celebrations and do they cost more money?

Can be anything. The usual stuff like birthdays or anniversaries, or just that it's your first time visiting WDW. No extra cash, but don't expect much. You may get nothing, or the restaurant may acknowledge your celebration somehow.
