Dining added to room only discount?

My TA seems to think I can't add the dining plan to a room only discount. I understand that the discount will only apply to my room portion of the reservation, but I can still add tickets and dining can't I? I just need to be sure before I make any decisions, because I know I want the dining plan.

I don't believe she is correct. You can't add dining to the interline airline employee discount (most of the time). However, I think you can to all the others. You will have to purchase tickets as well though.

Yep I just called back and spoke to another CM who told me I can add the dining, so if my TA tells me I can't, I will just re-book through the CM and cancel my reservation through my TA.

You won't be adding tickets and dining. You will be cancelling your room only booking and booking a WDTC package instead.
A room only res is just that -- room only.
