1. You download the software to your computer. The installation process will result in the software being started every time you start your computer
2. You indicate using the software which airports that you're interested in watching.
3. If SWA has a DING fare for one of your registered airports then the software will make a ding noise (hence the name) and the icon on your toolbar will show a tiny envelope (in case you missed the sound). That tiny envelope will remain there until either you check the fare or the offer expires.
4. When you hear/see that you have a DING offer, you click on the icon in your toolbar and the software will open. You then click on the offer and that'll open up browser session that'll show you your offers.
5. If one of the offers is something you're interested in then click on it and you'll be presented with the ability to select dates. Once you select your dates then you'll be presented with availability.
DING offers are very time sensitive and the expiration times are written in stone.
If you already have a flight booked and you get a DING offer for that same flight, you have to cancel the original flight and rebook with the DING. You will in this case lose your EBCI money from the original flight, if you've already purchased. Normally when a lower price is offered you can just change your flight and get the credit and keep your EBCI. DINGs are the one exception to this rule.
