Can you set up a Ding! type alert for one certain flight? I have my eye on this one flight that I need to change, and it's only gone up. It started as $100 and now it's $128. I'm half-tempted to change it now and just get the credit, but I'm also hoping it'll go down... but it doesn't seem like December flights go under $100 (at least at this point.)

Thanks!!

I don't think so...my observation with Ding! is that it's not a fare monitor but another way for SWA to release special fares. I gave up on running Ding! because there wasn't a lot of activity for my home airport...just days and weeks went by with no Ding fares. To check on SWA fares, I just got in the habit of checking the site every day...and it's worth it! Fares on my upcoming trip went down by over $200 total.

I find the Recent Searches feature on the SWA home page to be a convenient way to check fares every day.

That's what I figured, but hey it doesn't hurt to ask, right? :goodvibes

I keep checking every day, sometimes a few times a day. At this point my airport and date info just populates itself at this point, haha. It must know I'm persistent, lol.

Ding is pretty much a waste here, too. There are never PHL to MCO dings, and I've had used it for 2-3 trips now. :(

Thanks anyway! :)

Unfortunately, you can't watch specific flights. You can only set up DING for specific airports.
