Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

We will be driving from Toronto to WDW in August. We have driven once before. This time we would like to try a couple of places featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives along the way, and on the way home. Anyone have any recommendations? Food trucks, or any other suggestions are welcome as well. Thanks!!

If you give us an idea of what routes you will take you might get a better response. Also how far off would you be willing to go, I like your idea and would try to do the same thing.

We tried one of those places less than 20 miles from home, and it didn't make us want to do that again. The tables were so crammed together, no acoustics to tone down the noise -- could barely hear ourselves think. Saw a blatant health-code violation, and they burned a simple omelette. Other than that, the food really wasn't all that great.
