Has anyone done this? We have reservations for the week after Easter, so there are two seatings. I asked for the 2nd one, but they were not able to tell me the time. Anyone been that can give me an idea of how early/late the seatings are scheduled? We wanted to go to the Titanic Exhibit if our dinner is early enough.

Thanks,

Stephanie

I have no idea when the timing might be. But I can tell you that this was a fantastic experience, and the food was excellent. It was really amazing being so close to such amazing animals. It's a really fun dinner.
Sorry I couldn't help you but I did want to say how great the dinner is. Hope you enjoy it!

I believe its $32 for adults and $18 for children (ages 3-9), plus tax. Discount is available for Annual Passholders.

To reiterate what monarchsfan said, we did Dine with Shamu with our family back in May, and its the thing the kids still talk about the most out of our whole vacation... well worth it in my opinion.

When we went they didn't give out the timings of the seatings until about a week prior to the actual date.

We are interested in doing this. Can someone tell me how the seating is. Are there any bad seats or are they all close to Shamu? Also what kind of food do they have?

There are just 2 rows of tables, arranged around the tank. Seating is done in order of reservation. The earlier you reserve the better your chance for a first row table. Also I believe groups of 6 or more, they put the 2 tables together, so you've got front row. There was nothing wrong with the second row seats where we were though. I did have to stand to take pictures above the heads of the people in the row in front of me, but I'm vertically challenged to begin with.
The food is very good. It's a buffet type thing. There was some sort of chicken thing, pasta, beef, a seafood thing, veggies, rolls, popcorn chicken for the kids, and some different cookies for desert. I feel like I'm forgetting something. We feel we got the most out of our money on our meals in Sea World, including that one. At Dine with Shamu, it's all you can eat, really, you can keep going to the buffet. Also, the "show" is pretty neat, and the food was excellent.

I agree with everything Monarchsfan said, plus I'll add that the buffet also includes your drinks, which includes (Anheuser-Busch products only... imagine that!) beer  or malt beverages (Bacardi Silver O3 or Limon when we were there).

we booked Dine with Shamu for 3/3...but doesn;t give a time only says first seating.....and the park closes at 7 that day. will that mean we will miss teh rock and roll shamu show because we are eating??? princess:

I am scheduled for the last week of March, and I called the other day to ask. They have not set the schedule yet, but they said first seating is usually around 4:45 and second seating at 7:30. The park closes at 10:00 the day I am there. I am not sure what time the Shamu show is, but I would think the first seating would be early enough to not miss it.

No, we were at the park last May with the same hours. The area where they do Dine with Shamu is actually in the backstage area of Shamu Stadium. I don't recall the time of our seating (there was only one and it was still called the first seating), but when we were done with Dine with Shamu, we just walked around and went into the seating area of the stadium for Shamu Rocks America.
