Anyone have any reviews or advice on this? We'll be at SeaWorld on May 7th and considered doing this.

Thanks in advance!

We did Dine with Shamu in Feb. Very impressed with it. The food was incredible, the "server" was very helpful, almost too quick with refills. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Some do not particularly like it, because they talk a lot about the killer whales and training them, but there are some tricks, and we were, as always mesmerized by the power and force of these creatures. I think that is what made it the most worthwhile for us, was being able to be so close to the whales (there were times when we got splashed). We really enjoyed it and would absolutely do it again. This being said, it's not for everyone. If you really enjoy seeing the whales up close, and hearing about them, then it is for you. If you don't want to hear anything about training methods then it is not for you. If you decide to do this reserve asap, because they do seat in order of reservation, and those who reserved earliest get the front row tables.

monarchsfan16,

How many do you think were at your seating? Did you have a day with 1 or 2 seatings? I'm guessing over April vacation there'll be two seatings. When I made a reservation I had a choice of either seating, but there were no times associated with each seating....so I couldn't tell which one was the earlier seating.

There was only one seating when we went, at 5:15 I think. But it was during Feb vacation so it wasn't quite as popular a time to go. I believe there were 50-60 tables. I might be wrong with that one. Each table seats 4-5 people. If you have a group of 6 or more you automatically get seated in the front row, because they put 2 tables together. Less then that and it's based on when you book. The seating times change litterally every day, even if there are multiple seatings. It's great. Enjoy it!
