We did Dine with Shamu in Feb. Very impressed with it. The food was incredible, the "server" was very helpful, almost too quick with refills. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Some do not particularly like it, because they talk a lot about the killer whales and training them, but there are some tricks, and we were, as always mesmerized by the power and force of these creatures. I think that is what made it the most worthwhile for us, was being able to be so close to the whales (there were times when we got splashed). We really enjoyed it and would absolutely do it again. This being said, it's not for everyone. If you really enjoy seeing the whales up close, and hearing about them, then it is for you. If you don't want to hear anything about training methods then it is not for you. If you decide to do this reserve asap, because they do seat in order of reservation, and those who reserved earliest get the front row tables.
