Dine with Shamu

Does anyone know if the buffet luncheon Dine with Shamu is the show where the trainer has the whale do tricks and comes right out of the water next to the tables? We've been to the breakfast with Shamu in San Diego and they did, but they did not for the luncheon there. Does anyone know if they do in Orlando? Thanks very much!

We had dinner with Shamu 2 years ago. It was the best dinner we had in Orlando. The kids loved the show...although brief and you don't actually get to touch the whales. There were many kids choices and tons of great stuff for adults...and tons of vegi's. For me after 7 days of little to no vegi's it was a welcome meal. My daughter is still wanting to be a whale trainer and was able to talk and ask question of the trainers at the end. We are doing discovery cove this time around. We joked that we should do the dinner with shamu again since you get a "free" 7 day pass to sea world with discovery cove, and the cost of the dinner with shamu is not so much more than a basic dinner at any food venue. hope it helps.

I went to the Shamu dinner a couple of weeks ago and i loved it. The food is great and you can get a plain salad which i enjoyed after all the fast food. There is some nice pasta as well but eat fast cause they kick you out after an hour. And don't go inside for to long cause you will miss out on some of the whale tricks. They make it jump a couple of times and then the trainers talk about how they made the believe show. Afterwards the trainers come over to the tables so you can talk to them. It's really cool cause you sit so close to the whale and get a bit of insider information. but it all happens really fast...
