Dine with an Imagineer/plate

We were thinking about booking a lunch with an imagineer on our next trip. In researching it, I read that each family gets an autographed plate. However, I just read a review in a newsletter that said the plate costs an additional $75. Is this a recent change? Any information is appreciated.
