Does anyone know if you have to book this through the dining line or can you use wdw-play?

I've always used one of the Dining line phone numbers. I've used WDW-PLAY for Golf tee times, Fireworks cruises... things like that. Good luck with getting your reservation! :thumbsup2 (I'm also doing this in October during the F&W Festival. So fun!)

I called Disney Dining as the online system says it cannot book this. I wa sunable to get the right date, but did get another. This is going to be sticky as we are supposed to meet another couple that day. Ugh! I don't understand how iw was booked already. I called on the dot at 7!

I have yet to be successful in getting the reservation for my right date - at 7am on the dot...and so far everyone at disney dining seems to be very confused when I first ask for that reservation. They eventually find it but lose precious minutes searching. I did read somewhere to try the wdw tour line (?) or the play line. I'd call as a test run (what I plan to do when our adr day gets closer!) to each and see how long it takes them to find the lunch in their computers...:goodvibes good luck!

:headache: I would check back. It seems hard to believe if you called right on the dot that all spaces would be gone. Sometimes the computers have a glitch, especially with inexperienced phone center operators. :rolleyes1

Good luck to you!:goodvibes

Another note: It helps if you know exactly what to call it... Lunch with an Imagineer; Brown Derby; (Date you want); and TIME is important too. These are listed at an odd time (11:35 AM). This seemed to help.

When I was researching my existing ADR's, it was just listed at the Brown Derby for 11:35 AM... the CM couldn't find it any other way.

I am on hold with WDW-PLAY right now. Keep your fingers crossed. DBF won't be happy if I have to keep it how it is scheduled right now.

Consider the number of people doing exactly the same thing at 7:00 a.m. All luck of the draw as to which call squeezes in first. Also with 90+10, your dates could have been grabbed by those eligible to call earlier.

You cannot book this online. It is considered a special event.

The seating is very limited. I did it a week ago. It won't seat a lot of guests. There were 8 persons in my lunch group. That room might have been able to hold 2 more guests, but that would be it. One large party books it, and all the spaces are easily taken up.
