Dine Credit Expire When??

If one is on a SPLIT stay, will the dining credit, expire as soon as we check in to the other disney resort (we have no dine for that second half)?
OR
Can we use it for dinner that Same night?

We check out in morning and plan on checking in right away at next resort
will that be an issue?
Or should we plan on being sure ALL our credits are already used? Does that "midnight of check out day" thing get waived???

They expire at midnight, AFTER you check out. Checking back in on a split stay will not be an issue but you will need to carry key cards from both resorts until you use up the dining credits from the first stay.
