Dilemma

So, right now we have reservations for Dec 11-17 (Sun-Sun) with 35% off room rate at the POFQ. This discount can only be used for these dates.

We would however prefer to stay Thurs-Thurs (to save on airfare). If we can get a discount, we will change or ressies.

The dilemma lies in making Dining Reservations. We can do that mid June, but most likely there will not be a public discount (and probably not lucky enough to get a pin) to make the date change by then. Of course I can make them with plans from Sun-Sun, but is it worth it just to possibly switch dates (which would change all of the plans/parks on a specific day, etc).

Should I bother making them in June, or will I still have a good selection July or August??

I'd still make them. If you have to change later at least you will still have some top priority ones. I'd compare what the 2 trip plans will look like, try to keep the Sunday-Thursday days the same as much as possible and make ADRs for both possibilities. Then you can alter/cancel when your airfare and dates are set in stone.
