I don't like the idea of giving up 2 TS for HDD! If I pay out of pocket then I still have 8 TS credits to use throughout our stay.

Question: What is the discount for HDD with AP? Also, if we bought one AP would we get a discount on HDD for our entire party, or does each person have to have AP to get a discount?

i wondered about this myself but i decided to pay for hdd with my dde card - you get 20% discount for the 9:30 show only but this way i save 2ts and i feel im getting my monies worth for the dde card

i changed my plan-i booked hdd with the ddp using 2ts credits and im going to pay cash with my dde card discount for 2ts breakfasts....it came out much cheaper but you can only get cat 2 or 3 with the dining plan - with the dde card we had cat 1-oh well the savings seems worth it

We were a party of two for HDD and one of us used 2TS; and the other one cash for HDD.

We had the absolute worst table in the whole place even though I had booked very early.

A party of four is planning to return in October and at the 180 day, when I began to book, planning to use the 2TS for everyone, we were informed that we would be seated in Tier 2 or 3 --underneath the balcony or in the balcony. I asked about the option of 2 of us paying cash and only 2 on the DDP, but was told if even only one persone was on the DDP, then the entire party must be seated in Tier 2 or 3.

Since, we had such a lousy seat in December and I have a sister who CANNOT climb the stairs, I opted to pay cash for the whole thing since I wanted a good front table since we are celebrating a birthday.

I don't have the DDE (I am DVC member). Can anyone tell me the present cost, and if I get one if I can still use it for the HDD since we have already booked.

Also, is it still good for one year...I have another trip planned for late May and January. So it might pay me to buy one.

DVC members get a 20% discount on the 930 shows if you are going to one of those. That's what we did when we went in March, we were able to get tier 1 seating for what the tier 2 ir three would have cost, and we went during spring break week, on a Sunday night at 930 and the theater was maybe 1/4 full! I made the reservation about a week and a half before we went, and we were at a front row center table! I will definitely do the 930 again, the kids can get a rest in in the afternoon, and they are ready to go! Good luck and enjoy!
