I had no idea where to post this as this is a "multiple locations" question. So mod's please move as you see fit!

I have to cancel the trip I have planned for this July for my son's 13th birthday as he now has to do summer school & cannot miss any days. I currently have a reservation with Dreams, but I can move it to a different time of year. (Thank you Tracy you are awesome!)

I've been tossing the idea of doing a trip later in the year, like around end of Sept or end of Oct. We've been to WDW many times, would like to incorporate a trip for some days at WDW, Universal & Sea World. We have NEVER been to US or SW & thought it would be a nice change.

Now to thicken the plot....I was also thinking of doing the disney cruise to the bahamas for 3 days. I have roughly about 10 days of vacation left that I can use.

So what would you do? Son loves animals, in fact AK is his favorite park. If we were to do WDW it would be AK & Epcot. My other issue is transportation to & from WDW (current hotel res is at PORS) to US and to SW. Or should I just think mainly on doing US & SW & leave WDW for another trip?

I'M SO CONFUSED!

Perhaps this is a blessing. I cant tolerate the July heat in Orlando. Moving the trip to later in Sep would mean cooler temps. making it all the more enjoyable for you and the family.

If your boy is really into animals perhaps you could take him to the zoo for the day for his birthday.

I told him about the surprise that I had to cancel.
I think it was a blessing in disguise too. He's actually decided that he wants to go to the Wolf Preservation that isn't far from us for his actual birthday weekend.

Disneybride has him now hooked on a cruise. So I'm now leaning more on that for a trip, but still don't know yet. She wants me to do a RC, but I really would like to do a Disney one for our first one. I'll have to weigh out all the options & money on it all.

Kids can suprise you. It's great your son is being so grown up about the situation.

As for the cruise: My kids are teens now and I really wish we had done a Disney cruise when they where younger. We are cruising with NCL next year for two weeks around the Med. This was there choice instead of the Disney cruise. Even though we are hitting WDW in Nov 10 for three weeks they felt the Disney cruise was to young for them.

As for the cruise: I say take your boy now instead of later-before you know it he too will feel he is too grown up for a Disney cruise.

Dreams sells RC - I'm just saying :rolleyes1
