Cute fran! That's a great pic..... I was bummed with the "one pic" instruction too... I have a hard time doing 1 picture LOs unless I use portraits.... then I remembered I hadn't done anything with that picture of the ship...so it worked out ok.....

Labdogs Can you use an action to convert a paper into metallic silver?

I have been gone for over a week: school started last week and it was VERY rough on DS. Anyway, there have been some many spectacular LOs!! It's just amazing!
From the most recent speed scrapers:
Melissa: I love that shade of pink in your flowes/paper. It coordinates well with your outfit
Fran: I like how you made part of your wordart and bracket into almost a jelly glitter (I need to look at your credits for that)

Everyone's speed scrap is so gorgeous! I think I commented on all of them, but if I didn't, I'll get to that tonight (there were over 60 participants again!) Here's mine. It's the view of the Magic Kingdom from the observation deck of the California Grill (my fav restaurant.) I have lots more pics from there I want to scrap, so this will get either tweaked or turned into a 2 pg LO (or more. )

the 7th grade field trip to key largo... it's going to take several pages I'm sure. I found the disk thingie at schadowscrap.canalblog.com (it's called cadre-diapos) the background paper is from the surfer girl kit and perhaps the fish are? not sure. (sorry) maggie

Since I am the slowest scrapper ever, I forced myself to scrap something in less than an hour and this is what I came up with. Maybe next time, I'll give myself at least an hour. I used large shadows on purpose, but now I see that I forgot to shadow some things. UGH!

Thanks Quiltymom, I love that pic too! Here's the bit about Speed Scrap (copied from another post):

Well, different sites do things a bit differently, but here is how Scrap Matters has their speed scraps.

Every 10 minutes during the first hour you get an instruction, which you MUST use on your layout. This can be picture number, paper number, colors, a type of embellishment, pretty much anything.

So if it starts at 7, you get 7 instructions at: 7:00, 7:10, 7:20, 7:30, 7:40, 7:50 and 8:00. You can then embellish it further as you please. To get an idea of the instructions given, look in the old SS threads, about 4 or 5 pages from the end you will find the final instruction list.

You have another hour and usually a bit of extra time like 15 minutes to finish your layout and post it in their gallery and in the correct thread.
