Ok, so I LOVE some of the pages that you guys are doing with Britts Kits! Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a QP exchange like over on ScrapMatters? Can you, could you, would you, host a QP swap with one of your kits, Britt? Either over there (SM) or over here? I would LOVE it to have that DIS emphasis! But even if not here then maybe there are enough crossover people! lol
(-over on SM you have to buy a kit and use only stuff from that kit, so there's no ::cop: Then, you email the file, .png if possible to the leader and she compiles them all and puts them in one .zip file for those who joined in the fun!)

Hi sconnell - I think it would be SO FUN to do a QP exchange. The DIS admins are pretty strict with me about not trying to promote my own stuff here, so I'm not sure we could actually HOST the exchange on the DIS boards but maybe we could do this some way, some how. Like SM you'd have to purchase the kit to participate. The only way you can share a QP made with a designer's stuff is if you have explicit permission from that designer to do so. Same goes for Scrap for Hire stuff. You can't just buy a kit, make pages and share them with the world. Make sense? Ok - let me mull on this QP exchange idea for a bit. Someone else brought the idea to me a week or 2 ago too so let me think about how we could do it.


Oh and one other thing!! I scrapped a LO with some new stuff I have out today.

How did you extract Princess Jasmine's autograph for the jasmine LO? I have to try and do that with our autographs from the last trip. I thought of it after I did a character page the other day! Gotta scan that book! Anyway, back to your lo's! They rock! I love them all. Really nice work!

Can I ask what journaling fonts you used? They are all great!!

All I did for the signature is scan it and create a .png of it. I have a bunch of autographs saved that way. I uploaded them onto 4shared and if you're interested I can send the link....if I can find the right one.....Britt and I went a couple rounds with me not knowing which link was which.....

as for fonts? ugh...I never remember to write those down with the other credits......going to go look and i'll update the posts when i find out, mkay?

Thanks for sharing the cruise kit.. I will definitely be grabbing it. I wonder if this designer is a Dis'r because if you look at all her latest kits they definitely have a Disne feel. She either just got back or is heading out to one of the parks LOL

I posted this in the wrong thread, and couldn't even delete it before someone responded, lol. At least it was a digi thread, so it made sense! Anyway, someone posted in the last few pages asking about printing out your LOs. I recently ordered 3 pages (my Spectromagic & Cinderella Mural LOs) from scrapbookpictures.com. They arrived today, and they came out fantastic! They look so real! I'm so excited because now I don't have to worry about making digi LOs for my October trip album, since they'll fit right in with my paper LOs! So that's a 2 thumbs up for printing out your LOs.

Here's my speed scrap from yesterday. I'm not in love with it, but people (including my mom, who has finally come around to the whole digi scrapbook thing!) were giving it positive comments, so maybe it's just me, lol.

Love all your LOs! I think my favorite is the indy one. I'd love the link for the signatures. I did that for one signature to add to a picture (I think Snow White?), but it took forever so I stopped there.

Hi everyone... just wanted to stop by and say hi. Y'all's pages are looking great!!! DisneyCruiser, I love the HM page for your nephew.... and why shouldn't you have some blackmail material? Oh wait... it's only material if you haven't shown it around yet ;-)

I like the idea of a QP exchange.... y'all do such great work and it'd be nice to be able to just slip a few pictures behind LOs and call it done. Seems to be the only way I'll have time to do any more scrapping of my own these days. Life's just gotten soooooo hectic. Sometimes I wish I would just have a nervous breakdown... then maybe I'd get some rest ;-)

Here's the LO I did for the Template Challenge at scrapmatters. I wanted to do a page with favorites from our trip, and thought this template worked great with that. So hard to chose just 10, as I could chose 10 from the Halloween Party alone! I wanted to include more journaling (why I chose each), oh well.

I have some problems with this LO, and I'm desperately hoping you guys can help! I save my LOs as the psd, 12x12 jpg & 600x600 jpg, as I'm sure many of you do. I had no problem saving this as a 600 jpg, obviously. But when I saved it as a 12x12, it won't work. It saves it, but then the file is blank, and it won't even reopen in photoshop. I've tried everything, including opening a new 12x12, moving a merged view of the psd over to that new file, and saving that, and I still have that problem. But other sizes, including 8x8 and even desktop wallpaper, all work. I even tried saving a different psd as a 12x12 to see if it was photoshop, but that worked fine. I have digi LOs where the psd is a larger file size than this one, so that can't be the problem either. I'm still going to try saving it on my laptop's Photoshop, but I don't think that will help. I've tried everything I can think of...HELP!? This is definitely a LO I want to print, and I spent parts of 3 days working on it. *sigh*

I totally understand, and I REALLY REALLY hope that you can figure out a way to make this work. I LOVE your kits. I'm continually taken back by the awesome work that you do and the amazing LOs I've seen on here! I don't know what your obligations are to ScrapMatters either and I don't want to get you in trouble... Just wanting to share the love.

BTW, love the latest LOs! That Hannah Montana one ROCKS! My DD5 would LOVE that! We're going to Panama City Beach in August and she keeps calling it Hannah Montana Beach...
KSWM, maybe you could do a 2nd page with more journaling? I'm going to have to do a top ten page too!

Hello! Wow - the layouts on here are great and inspirational!!! I think I spend more time buying digital elements and downloading freebies thank scrapbooking.

I haven't had anytime to scrap - but I did make twins' invite for their 3rd birthday and wanted to share!
