Oh please hurry up & post some cruise layouts ;) ...I need some inspiration to scrap our March 2005 cruise on the Magic. :) I started paper scrapping it a long time ago but still have about 1/2 left to do (want to digiscrap the rest).

Lisa - I will get working on it ASAP just for you ;) Or maybe you should scrap some of yours to give me inspiration....:thumbsup2

I do love your Mickey Pages. I don't think they are too plain at all....

Hi guys.. yup it's me.. I had to disappear again due to work obligations but big changes are coming and after June 1 I will have my life back literally!! Oh and this is a GOOD thing, no bad news but I can't explain right now what it is...

Welcome home Lisa, sounds like you had a great trip. To everyone posting layouts I LOVE THEM and have copied several to my computer to scraplift after my December trip :)

Keep posting and I will check in as much as I can and hopefully get some scrapping done soon as well.

Well gosh darn you are in luck, Digital's NSB sale lasts all week, so they are still 20% off =p

http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1920

I got mine Tuesday I think, got that and the add on, the honey bear, toy box and her zoo kit and the fuzzy zoo animals by someone else that Chris posted on her AK lo somewhat recently. I highly recommend those fuzzy animals, they were only like 1.50. It's called zoo bunch, but i don't remember the designer, it was at Digitals too tho.

Happy shopping! ;)

I love everyone's pages. I am trying to start digital scrapbooking. I am having problems understanding... :confused3 How does everyone get the great things for the pages? What program do you use? Do I need a specific one?

Digitals is my absolute favorite! I have bought so many kits...from Glenda (all the Disney stuff) and a bunch of others too. The designer of Zoo Bunch is Dede Smith I believe. I have so many kits now, its hard to figure out what to use with what. :rotfl2:

I am definitely not the best one to explain this since I am just starting out too. You need photo editing software that uses layers...I use Paint Shop Pro X...which I got for around 70 (I think) but now the next version is out so you can probably find the older versions much cheaper. There are also a ton of free tutorials that you can read to teach yourself. I am slowly learning by reading and all the great help I have received here but the main thing is learning how to use the layers.

To get the papers and elements, I download all of mine. I have also scanned in some stickers and paper that I bought when I was paper scrapping. There are a ton of websites our there for digital scrapping. I mostly download from
http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals - this site has some free samplers but a lot of kits for sale. There are too many to list but there is another thread on this board that lists tons of places to get supplies from - both free and for sale.

Hope this helps. =)

Fran, are you talking about the torn paper animals? If so I did buy those too! I saw them on Seebee's site and had to have them. It was actually my first digital purchase. :woohoo:

You do need a program. I use Corel Paint Shop Pro X. Another popular choice is Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. There are many great websites with tutorials on how to use your program. I personally like the tutorials at http://scrapbook-bytes.com/ but lots of the digital scap sites have great tutorials.

Here is the thread with the web sites of where to get some of these great downloads: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1310733

Hope this helps!!!!

Did this one late last night:

And this one a couple days ago:

Are those animals torn? I wasn't sure, they looked fuzzy to me and I haven't used them yet. But yes the ones Chris used on her AK page. I think I squeezed all my animals in that circle LO, I might have to do a zoo page.. maybe I have more from the previous trip. :D

First, just wanted to say that as I'm writing this, Digitals is down. It was down all of yesterday, and we've now found out that the store database is corrupt & the backup failed. So...we're hearing it'll be possibly 2-3 days before the store is back. (I actually have a new product waiting to go up, so I'm excited to get the store back! :) ) So, anyone who's trying to get Zoo Bunch or something else, I'm sorry for the bad news. Hang in there, and we'll be back. (Can you hear the Terminator voice now? :rotfl: )

Also, I figured I'd share a recent layout that I like, although it's not Disney related. I spent a lot of time on National Scrapbook Day last weekend working on my first Creative Memories Storybook. I used the premade templates for the first page & cover because that's how the software works, but I did the rest of the pages from scratch. I won't share the entire book here, but this is one of my favorite pages because, as any recent visitor to my blog may realize, I really like the crumpled paper effect.

I also find this interesting because, to me, this shows just how you can change & grow in a few months. I made that paper a couple of months ago as part of a paper package specifically for me to use in the making of this book. But I've since changed the way I do my textures, so it looks very harsh to me now. I still like the colors, though. :D

Off topic, but about Disney...did you see my sig? :) Even though it's 2 1/2 years away, I'm pretty excited about this trip. My best friend & I are going to WDW for a weekend without our families, where I intend to do some mega shopping and lots of Tower of Terror rides. My personal goal is to experience 40 drops during this trip. ;)

Finally, there's a new Dream Trip freebie on my blog, seebeesfreebies.blogspot.com .

Anyways, enough rambling...thanks for looking! I hope everyone who is celebrating it has a Happy Mother's Day! :)

Hi Chris -

Those pics are so cute!!!! I really like the layout. That is great news about your upcomming trip. Very exciting. I would love to have a girls only trip to WDW. So fun!!!!

Also, thanks for posting about Digitals being down. I was actually trying to view their store yesterday and couldn't so now I know why. I am acutally searching for a cute ballet kit for my DD's Dance recital pics so if anyone knows of a good kit....Please share.

Fran, I LOVE it! Yeah it was the same animals Chris had. I love them so much I just open them to look at them.
<---------- is easily amused 8)

Chris, cute! I love the Ad.

I have been knitting my little fingers to the bone, so no time for scrapbooking.

I found an ADORABLE FREE kit tonight. It is called Winnie Babies and would be perfect for kids pages. Check it out:

(the site is French but to download, click on "Cliquez ici" which is in blue to help it standout....

I also found a FREE ALLADIN Kit at:

http://missviviscrap.canalblog.com/archives/p110-10.html

(page 11 has the downloads for paper & page 10 has the download link for the embellishments) Again the site is in French.... I did notice that Seebee's site was listed in this blog!!!!
