This is one I did for my DD's homecoming; can't really show the pictures but thought the layout still shows. Welcome to the jungle was the theme.

kswm30b - Your baseball pictures are great; we don't go often but I know I can look at your pages for ideas when I get to work on them.

Barbara - You did great with the interaction, love all the pictures.

carolinagirl - You've really almost continued the stage and the alpha is perfect. It looks great.

Christy-did I miss the announcement you were named a CT at SM!? Woohoo, congrats! :)

Thanks Heather! :) I'm really excited (and a little intimidated!)! :) Everyone over at SM is so nice and so inspiring though-- I love being a little part of their awesome community -- as I know you do too! :goodvibes

Still loving your baseball LOs!!

Barbara -- Awesome LOs.... You take fantastic pictures! Your DD is a doll... I especially love how you captured the interactions between her and Pluto! Too cute!!

Kim -- Another great LO! You are making me want to go see the Jonas Brothers... LOL! It looks like you guys had so much fun. Is the album going to be a Christmas gift for your DD?

Janette -- that is so darn cute -- the pedicure shot is the BEST!!

Christy,

Yes, the album is going to be a Christmas present for DD. I'm thinking of making it into a photobook. She is absolutely crazy for the Jonas Brothers. She has made a fan out of me too! The concert was one of the most fun things I've done in a long time. We had a BLAST! We actually went to see them twice this summer. Once in Raleigh, NC. Our seats weren't great, but she got to bring a friend to that one. It was such a great show that I went on e-bay to look for tickets to their Va. Beach show. I ended up with fantastic (but pricey) seats way down front. It was just the two of us. I hope that it is something that she will always remember. It was SO exciting! Kevin Jonas actually winked at me during the concert. I thought it was my imagination, but my DD looked at me and said, "OMG, Mom, Kevin Jonas just winked at you!" LOL! I guess he was just trying to make a middle-aged mom's day! LOL! But I digress.....I'm having alot of fun doing these pages. I think she's going to love it.

janette: I love the pic of the girls shoes...very creative. I'll have to make a mental note of that for when my DD starts to go to those types of events.

Here is another JB layout...This is Nick's page-

Thanks for all your input, carolinagirl, janette, wenrob and suzi!!!

I use Microsoft Digital Image Pro (for now). I know Photoshop can do a lot more, but Microsoft is really easy to use - - and it's what I'm used to!!! Anyway, I don't have many options when it comes to shadowing. I am able to change the color, but I don't know how to make it the same color as the background paper - if the background paper is multi-colored (does that make sense?). I'll try softening my shadows when I go home tonight - - see if that helps :)

Anyway, thanks for responding - - I knew I could count on you scrappy DISERS for help!

Oh, btw, I LOVE LOVE LOVE all your layouts!!! You ladies inspire me to scrap!

Congratulations Christy! Now to embarrass myself: what is a CT at SM? I knew that you were a CT to Jeni, but are you now at the CT for all of SM? Sorry for the newbie questions. I do know that Congrats are definately in order!

PSE was giving me fits today. I'm so bad at remembering to save while I'm working and twice it shut down on me when I had layouts almost complete. :( I'm using Photoshop Elements 5 - is anyone using 6 or 7?

Barbara -- I have PSE6. I am no computer wiz, but one possibility that your program keeps shutting down on you is that perhaps the program is too large for your computer? Add that on to all the megabytes of kits and LOs that are stored on there and perhaps it is more than the computer can handle? I know there was a discussion about this a few pages before. Perhaps someone else can help out with an idea?

Thanks Suzi. :) Individual designers have Creative Teams -- people who they give their products to so that they can scrap LOs and help promote them, etc.... And then most of the digi stores also have their own CTs for the entire store. At SM the CTs scrap LOs for assigned designers (assignments change each month)... and the CTs also run the various challenges, do the speed scraps, do the blog posts, help publicize events, freebies, etc. and are expected to be active in the forum and gallery. It's been fun getting to know the other CTs and the designers over there a little more... I'll be hosting a Speed Scrap next Tuesday night... That'll be the first challenge I've hosted. Yikes! :scared1:

Congrats, Christy! I'm sorry I'll be out of town for your first Speed Scrap. Maybe next time.

Here's one that I did for the Tues. Temp. Challenge at SM:

Pooh46,

I really like your 'ahoy Mickey' page! Where did you find the Delicate Mickey Sprinkles? I tried searching at Scrap Matters, but I didn't find them.

Thanks,
Rae

I looked too. I finally figured they're 'hidden Mickey's' in a kit or maybe from a challenge. I'm curious to know though.

Rae and Barbara - The Mickey Sprinkles were from last week's DIS Challenge # 25 hosted by Britt:

The download link still appears to be active so you may be able to download them.

Britt also has a freebie that is still on her blog called Mouse In The House and I believe that it has some sprinkles in it, too - about half way down the page. http://brittishdesigns.blogspot.com/2008/03/leave-world-behind.html

Thanks for the compliment.

That's really terrific! Although I am not surprised you were chosen as I stare at your every LO with awe! Sounds like a lot of work, but it's all really fun work; plus you get to have all those wonderful new kits! I am sorry-- I should support you on the first speed scrap, but the terms "speed" and "scrap" just do not describe me at all! Perhaps when you host something more my speed, I'll actually start a gallery at SM and help you out -- I'm still a lurker over there. Congrats again!

lol..I actually did laugh out loud when I when your reply Suzi. Yeah, that's me too...speed and scrap don't belong in the same sentence.

And I agree, Christy's layouts are terrific.

Pam - thanks for the links to Britt's sprinkles. :)

You crack me up Suzi. ;) It's not all THAT speedy --- you actually get 2 hours to do your LO.... but I know it's not for everyone. :) Although, sometimes I am surprised by how well I like my LOs from challenges and speed scraps.... a lot of times I like them better than the LOs I spend lots of time on.... I think I just like being told what to do. LOL!! Then I don't have to think as hard! :goodvibes

One more....

I'm actually scrapping sort of in order but I didn't start posting them in order here. Some lo's I like better than others but I don't have the energy or desire to rescrap the pages I've already done.
