I've got PSE 5, and I know it's supposed to work, but I've never been able to get their actions to work. I've installed and reinstalled them trying to find out what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure it's me. Somehow I'm just misunderstanding what the directions are trying to tell me.

On the other hand, I did finally figure out how to make something a sticker last night. Only took an hour! LOL

What do you mean by "Atomic Cupcake doesn't work"? Do you mean Atomic Cupcake's actions? I use them in PSE 6. That's how I made those titles for the challenge last week, using their gel action. The actions come with directions for lots of versions of PSE. Just make sure you follow the ones for PSE 6.

Howdy all,

Well, I've been doing a bit more scrapping but it's not pictures, it's journaling. I decided that I wanted my cruise scrapbook to include the post trip report that KC and I wrote because we had such fun doing it and it'll be fun to read again in the future. So that's what these are. Actually, considering that they're just a bunch of words, I think they came out pretty good.

Hypermommy - that's very cool that your including your trip report in your scrapbook. I think that's a great idea.

BTW - I really enjoyed your trip report.

Here is the layout I did last night for the Speed Scrap at Scrap Matters. It was lots of fun as always. :)

Hypermommy, love the journaling, that's a great idea! I may do that for this last trip we took since I have a habit of never leaving room for journaling.

Melissa, great job. Love the black and red against the white backround.

As simple as this is, it still took me two days.:confused3 I'm just a slowpoke I guess. (click for credits)

Thanks!!! It was fun to write and I'm sure it's going to be great fun to re-read.

Sorry, I am a page behind in responding.
Glad to see you could use the actions with PSE 6. I have never tried to download it; when I go to buy an action, it says it requires PSE 3, 4, 5. So, I just assumed the PSE 6 wouldn't work. Perhaps I should just try it. Thanks for letting me know.

Wen,
I think that page looks great. I tried to see the credits and I could not. Where did you get the date thing from...it is so cool.

Hmmn, I wonder why? I got the date wheel at Pixel Gypsy Designs, it was part of a pack. The markers are from Britt's Gotta Date Strips. Thanks to our Miss Britt I'm addicted to quirky date embellies!

If anyone else is having problems clicking on the pic for credits let me know and I'll list them here.

Thanks for the info. When I clicked the picture it says Ooops this picture is set to private

I didn't make it in time for Jessica's challenge - but I wanted to post - now that I finally finished. The papers are all CM from the Disney Vacation Kit. The gellie is from Jessica and the template is from DisneyCruiser2008 - Christy.

Jessica and Christy- Thanks!!!

Disneybaby,
That is awesome looking. Was the Donald Duck #1 and Donald part of the CM kit or was it from somethng else.

I love the colors it looks great, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliments :) The Donald Duck was the actual signature scanned and recolored to match his beak.

The only other thing that is not CM is the big red bowtie - that is Donald's from the picture cut out and blown up.

These look great! I am terrible at journaling - but I would love to do something like this. It's great to look at pictures - but having the story behind them makes it even better. LOVE THEM!!!!

Hypermommy: Great idea on the journaling. I love how you've broken it up instead of having one long thing. I'll have to remember that.

Wen: That child is so precious! Super great LO.

Disney Baby: I love all the blue. It's good to see some of the CM stuff too. I was wondering about it. Love the bowtie. So clever.

Disney Baby -- I just spotted this LO on the Flickr group and I love it!! I'm so glad someone was able to use the Donald word art. I know he's a tough one to get pictures with sometimes! You got some great pictures with him and I love the LO! Did you extract the autograph and bow tie using SBC+? I haven't tried to do anything like that in that program yet. I LOVE this page! TFS!

I love the word art! Thanks for making it :) I did extract the autograph and the bowtie in SBC+. I isolated each one as much as possible using the rectangle tool. Then I used the wand to remove the big background chunks. Then I increase the view to 200% or 400 % and use the custom shape tool to cut out anything else I don't want... I wish they had an erase tool!!! I am trying to push the limits of SBC+ - so far - I still love it!!!!

I am thankful that you and Christy use it too - it keeps me motivated because I love both of your styles!

Thanks for the info. I wish they had an erase tool, too. I think I told my CMC to suggest that!

Disney Baby Love that LO! Is Disney Cruiser designing templates because that is a template worth having? Or is it for CM? Both the template and the LO are great! Really like the bow.

Wow you really put a lot of work into that page. I too wish SB + had an erase tool. I have actually sent that to CM as a suggestion....I have have put the item into PSE then saved off as a PNG as I get too frustrated with SBC+ Thank you for showing us all you can do with SBC+ All you have done with it is so great.
