Hi, I am a newbie to these boards and to digital scrapping. I have been doing paper scrapping forever but i LOVE digital... so much more than paper! No mess, less money (soooooo many freebies out there!), easier to fix mistakes... it's great! Anyway, here are a few LO I have done in the last couple of days. Hope you like them! The first 5 are from when my husband and I went to the LDS temple to be sealed and the last one is from Disney in 2004.

Here is one I did using the new Daily Download kit, "Stars and stripes Forever."

I need your help! Someone on the first "pages" thread posted a LO with this view master wheel in it, and the link to download the freebie. Well, I can't find the credit info on it and I'm not looking forward to going through all 100+ pages of the old thread to look for it- if it's still there.

So, if you know about it, could you please let me know? I want to give proper credit for it. Thanks!

I think this might be the one you're looking for, QuiltyMom. Nicurn posted a LO using it on p.191, post 2855 on the first digi-pages thread. The link to the viewmaster freebie she used is http://schadowscrap.canalblog.com/archives/embellissements_freebies/index.html. Scroll down to the middle of the page. Unfortunately, for those who were interested, the link for the download is no longer active, but you'll be able to find the info you need.

Thanks, Pam, for finding that link! At least now I'll be able to give proper credit to it!

Here are a couple that I made using Happy Scrap Girl's new kit, One Fine Day (it's in the Mystery Mix - June Grab Bag No. 6)

And this one is made with the Key to Happiness, also by Happy Scrap Girl

Here is what I did with the Mystery Mix #5 Grab bag at ScrapMatters

and the one I did with the Mystery Mix #3

And one that I did with Britt's new patriotic kit, Independent

Thanks for posting this here because I did miss it on the challenge thread. (confession: I have been keeping up with this thread, but I haven't been keeping up with the challenge thread)

Anyway, this is awesome! Very creative and just makes me want to go to Disney tomorrow!! If you ever sell this as a template, please let us know!

Yes, please. Yes, please. Can we put our names on a waiting list????

Love it, and would buy it in a heart beat.

Tracey

Thanks. I've been thinking about it, but I've had a lot to deal with lately. It might be a bit before I get to it.

Here is the latest one I've done. I've really been regretting that there was so much I didn't get to tell my Dad before he passed away. I decided to scrap it as a way to say all those things. I cried the entire time I was typing the journaling. It was a relief though to finally "say" it. If you click on the image, it will take you to the gallery, where I included the journaling in the description.

Melissa, this is a beautiful layout on so many levels. I hope putting this together you can let go of the regrets. As I learned when my mother passed when I was 17, and then my father 11 years almost to the day later, there's no way to tell those we love everything we're thinking and feeling. But I'm sure they know anyway.

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I didn't realize.
There are tears in my eyes as I read your journaling on this LO. I know by viewing your LOs over the last year that you have a very close family and that will support each other during this time.

Melissa, I am so very sorry about your loss. What a beautiful tribute to your Dad.

I've been gone for so long. I feel like I haven't done any layouts in ages. Here are a couple that I did today. The first was for a Speed Scrap that required scraplifting, so mine is a lift of one of Melissa's layouts.

As I posted above, I would be very interested in a PS action, should Melissa decide to do this, but, in the meantime, Shape Collage showed up on my RSS feed this morning as a Mac Gem (it's also available for Windows/Linux). It's a program that creates collages in any shape you can think of, including text/dingbats. It's highly customizable (border colors/widths, photo spacing, etc.), and seems to work very well. Best of all, it's free (well, to be fair, it's donation ware). Have fun.

(Cr*ap - I don't have enough posts to show you a link but you can google Shape Collage. I even had a screen shot of my Mickey head :()

(BTW, I'm not affliated with Shape Collage in any way, it was just serendipity that I heard of it this week, when I was interested in collages)
